Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Addis Ababa office. The role will lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports, manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensure strict compliance with local regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support audit processes.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Ensure tax compliance and prepare regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within advertising or engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
