About the role

The Senior Banking Business Officer authorizes transactions in line with the bank's risk appetite while ensuring high customer satisfaction. This role supports business growth, operational excellence, and strategic objectives through professional service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer requests efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to bank standards.
• Authorize transactions per the bank's risk appetite, verifying regulatory and internal compliance.
• Countersign documents and transaction tickets for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain dual control during vault access, cash movements, and end‑of‑day balancing.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in end‑of‑day balancing procedures.
• Promote the bank's products, services, and alternative banking channels to enhance engagement.
• Monitor branch operations to ensure policy and process adherence.
• Facilitate account openings and cross‑selling of banking services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years banking experience, with at least 2 years at officer level in a similar role.
