Senior Cloud and Core Systems Administrator

About the role

The Senior Cloud and Core Systems Administrator will lead the installation, configuration, operation, maintenance and optimisation of our server, storage and virtualisation infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, security and integrity of all systems while supporting the bank’s digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain compute, storage and networking hardware, including SAN switches.
• Manage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and container solutions (Docker, OpenShift).
• Administer cloud environments (AWS EC2, Office 365) and related IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services.
• Monitor system logs, respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure server operating systems (Linux, Windows) are patched, secure and performant.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support application deployments and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in systems, cloud or infrastructure administration.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
