About the role

The Senior Database Administrator will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of the organization’s enterprise database environment. This role ensures data availability, performance and security across critical banking applications.

Key responsibilities

Install, configure, administer and maintain enterprise database systems.
Monitor database health, availability and performance, and conduct SQL tuning.
Manage backup, restore and recovery operations to protect critical data.
Design, implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations and version control.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in database administration.
