Senior IT Auditor – Banking

About the role

The Senior IT Auditor will provide independent, objective assurance that the bank’s IT operations, people, processes and technology align with strategic objectives, corporate policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves risk‑based auditing, fraud investigations and delivering actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a risk‑based internal audit work program covering all material IT areas.
• Conduct special investigations into potential frauds and prepare detailed reports for senior management and external authorities.
• Identify high‑risk activities within IT functional units and recommend feasible controls.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control and risk management processes in the IT department.
• Provide consulting support to the internal audit function and act as interim IT Audit Division Manager when required.
• Prepare timely, accurate reports on audit findings and performance against the audit plan.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, with at least two years in an officer‑level position.
