Senior Java Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑impact software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services architectures.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Document technical specifications and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience developing RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
