Social Media Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a creative Social Media Marketing Manager to drive our digital presence and support the promotion of events, brands and client projects. The role will be based in Addis Ababa and will work closely with designers, content creators and clients to deliver engaging social media campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create, schedule and publish content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube.
• Manage multiple company and client accounts using content calendars.
• Write compelling captions and marketing copy.
• Coordinate with designers and video producers to produce high‑quality graphics and videos.
• Monitor performance, analyse KPIs and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Plan and execute paid social media campaigns as needed.
• Promote conferences, exhibitions, workshops, product launches and other events.
• Engage with online communities and ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends and emerging digital opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing, advertising or event promotion.
• Strong knowledge of social media optimization and platform management.
• Excellent English communication and writing skills; Amharic is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, copywriting and organizational abilities.
