Software QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Software QA Engineer with 3–5 years of hands‑on experience to own end‑to‑end quality assurance across our products. You will define test cases, build automation, and validate functionality, performance and business logic for both frontend and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Own the QA process from test planning, case design, execution, automation and sign‑off.
• Design, build and maintain automated test suites for frontend and backend services.
• Perform functional testing of UI flows and API behavior, and run load and performance tests.
• Develop business‑case/end‑to‑end scenario tests that reflect real‑world usage.
• Identify, document and track defects, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional software QA/test engineering experience.
• Proven ability to independently own QA strategy for a product.
• Strong experience designing test cases, test plans and golden paths with clear documentation.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Testing frontend applications (UI/UX, cross‑browser).
• Testing backend services and APIs (functional, integration, regression).
• Test automation frameworks for both frontend and backend.
• Load and performance testing design and execution.
• Git for version control of test code.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• C#/.NET or Java/Spring Boot backends (nice to have).
• Next.js frontend (nice to have).
• PostgreSQL for test data setup and validation (nice to have).
• Kubernetes/containerised environments (nice to have).
• Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki (nice to have).
• Linux environment (nice to have).
