Strategy Assistant

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Strategy Assistant to support the implementation of its SAP Strategy 100 Phase Two across Ethiopia. Working closely with the Director of Programs and the Senior Management Team, you will help translate strategic objectives into concrete action plans for technical sectors and regional offices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in converting the SAP Strategy 100 Phase Two into operational plans with relevant technical sectors and regional offices.
• Track progress against SAP milestones and prepare consolidated monitoring reports.
• Coordinate with the Director of Programs and senior management to ensure alignment and timely execution of the strategic action plan.
• Support administrative tasks related to the rollout, including documentation and communication with field teams.

Required profile

• Strong interest in humanitarian programs and strategic implementation.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise strategy frameworks.
