Temporary Data Analyst and Coordinator

About the role

This part‑time, temporary position supports a NIH‑funded clinical trial aimed at reducing HIV acquisition risk among women who inject drugs. Working under the Principal Investigator, you will coordinate data activities, develop codebooks, and conduct both cross‑sectional and longitudinal analyses.

Key responsibilities

• Attend regular study meetings and contribute to progress reports.
• Maintain and secure project files and documentation.
• Create, update, and manage codebooks for longitudinal data.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks and data coordination with the PI and Project Manager.
• Conduct data analysis, log syntax, and generate analytical outputs.
• Assist with administrative tasks and prepare materials for presentations, publications, and policy briefs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health or related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and discretion with confidential information.
• Commitment to the HEAL lab’s core values and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using SAS and/or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Qualtrics and REDCap (strongly preferred).
