Video Editor & Virtual Assistant for Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking a high‑energy Video Editor who will also act as a Virtual Assistant for a fast‑growing digital marketing agency serving blue‑collar businesses across North America. You will create short‑form video content that captures attention, fuels organic growth, and showcases the grit of our clients' brands.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 5‑10 high‑impact videos per day for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Design content hooks, pacing, and music selections that trigger platform algorithms.
• Analyze performance metrics to understand winning elements and refine future edits.
• Manage end‑to‑end post‑production workflows for both photo and video projects while meeting rapid turnaround times.
• Collaborate with fellow editors, run creative workshops, and elevate overall department output.
• Partner with account managers and designers to brainstorm creative directions for diverse client campaigns.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging gear, and advanced editing techniques.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of professional video‑editing experience.
• Proven ability to produce high‑retention short‑form content.
• Data‑driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
