Warehouse Assistant (Fixed-Term) – UNICEF, Addis Ababa

About the role

UNICEF Ethiopia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant on a fixed‑term basis to support the day‑to‑day operations of its central warehouse in Addis Ababa. The role ensures that supplies are received, stored, and dispatched safely and in line with product‑specific requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and record incoming UNICEF supplies.
• Prepare and dispatch outgoing consignments while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Monitor storage conditions and handle cargo according to specific product guidelines.
• Maintain security measures to protect programme supplies.
• Support inventory management and stock reconciliation activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Ability to work under the supervision of the Warehouse Officer.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Commitment to UNICEF’s mission and child‑rights focus.
