Warehouse Assistant (G-5) – Fixed Term – Addis Ababa

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Warehouse Assistant (G‑5) on a fixed‑term basis to support its supply operations in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Reporting to the Warehouse Officer, the incumbent will manage the daily receipt, storage and dispatch of programme supplies while safeguarding product integrity and security.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and record incoming UNICEF supplies in the warehouse.
• Prepare and dispatch supplies to field locations according to programme needs.
• Maintain storage conditions that meet product‑specific requirements.
• Ensure cargo handling follows safety and security protocols.
• Support inventory management and stock control activities.

Required profile

• Seasoned professional with experience in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Officer.
