Auditor II – Accounting Role

About the role

Global Insurance SC is seeking an Auditor II to join its finance team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will support the audit function by performing financial reviews, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, and contributing to the accuracy of the company’s financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit procedures on financial statements, transactions and controls.
• Prepare audit work‑papers, findings and recommendations.
• Assist senior auditors in planning and executing audit engagements.
• Verify the correctness of accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Identify and report any deviations from established policies or regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information and resolve audit issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional audit or accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Computer skills (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheet applications).
