Country Representative – Ethiopia

About the role

VANZBON Global is seeking a well‑connected professional to act as its local representative in Ethiopia. The Country Representative will support foreign clients with company incorporation, legal and tax coordination, and the development of a strong local professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Assist foreign clients with company registration, business licences, permits and ongoing compliance in Ethiopia.
• Coordinate with government authorities, local lawyers, accountants, tax advisors, banks and other service providers.
• Provide guidance on tax registration, corporate tax, VAT, payroll, social security, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Liaise with local professionals and authorities to ensure smooth market entry and operational compliance.
• Support VANZBON Global’s Shenzhen headquarters in understanding Ethiopian regulatory, tax and accounting practices.

Required profile

• Recognised professional qualification in Ethiopia (e.g., licensed lawyer, tax advisor, CPA, auditor) – preferred.
• Strong local network of legal, tax, accounting and business service providers.
• Relevant experience in corporate set‑up, compliance or professional services.
• Ability to act as a bridge between foreign clients and Ethiopian authorities.
