Cyber Security GRC Officer I

About the role

ZamZam Bank, Ethiopia's first full‑fledged interest‑free bank, is looking for a motivated Cyber Security GRC Officer to support its digital transformation and financial inclusion goals. You will work within a values‑driven environment, helping to protect the bank’s information assets while ensuring compliance with Shari’ah‑compliant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of interest‑free banking services and promote financial inclusion across Ethiopia.
• Build leadership, technical, and professional capabilities within the cyber‑security function.
• Participate in the bank’s digital transformation initiatives and modern banking service delivery.
• Expand access to secure financial services and contribute to broader economic opportunity.
• Uphold the organization’s ethical values, professionalism, inclusiveness, and social responsibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT/cyber security, risk management, governance, compliance, audit or a similar area.
• Solid knowledge of Cyber Security GRC principles, risk assessment, and security controls.
• Familiarity with major frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS and COBIT.
