About the role

The Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst will join Safaricom Ethiopia’s dedicated SOC team. You will be responsible for continuously monitoring, assessing, and defending the enterprise information systems against cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

Monitor Safaricom Ethiopia enterprise information systems for security events and anomalies.
Assess and investigate correlated security event feeds to identify potential incidents.
Escalate identified security incidents promptly to the appropriate remediation teams.
Act as the primary point of contact for suspected security incidents.
Collaborate with remediation teams to resolve incidents and mitigate threats.
Help foil cyber security threats targeting the Safaricom brand.
