International Tender Specialist

About the role

YSPanacea Trading is seeking an exceptional International Tender Specialist to lead end‑to‑end bidding operations for medical imports. You will manage the full tender lifecycle, from identifying international competitive bids to preparing winning proposals and overseeing post‑award contract performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑value international competitive bids (ICB/NCB) across global procurement portals and assess feasibility.
• Prepare, compile and submit technical and commercial proposals.
• Lead digital submissions via electronic Government Procurement (eGP) and donor portals with zero‑error precision.
• Navigate strict procurement frameworks from the World Bank, EPSS, UNOPS, WHO and the Ethiopian Ministry of Health.
• Oversee post‑award activities including performance bonds, Letters of Credit and delivery coordination.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience winning international medical/healthcare tenders in Ethiopia or East Africa.
• Proven track record with tenders funded by World Bank, EPSS, UNOPS, WHO or MoH.
• Practical expertise with eGP platforms and global donor procurement portals.
• Solid understanding of EFDA regulations, customs clearance, INCOTERMS and LC processes.
• Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Amharic.
