Junior Graphic Designer for Fortune Magazine

About the role

Independent News & Media Plc, the publisher of the business weekly Fortune, is looking for a creative Junior Graphic Designer to bring visual stories to life across its print, digital, video and audio platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual assets for websites, social media, marketing materials and other digital platforms.
• Design layouts and graphics for both digital and print publications.
• Collaborate with marketing, content and fellow design teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Maintain and update existing design templates and assets.
• Stay current with design trends and software updates.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail and design skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organised work style with ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Knowledge of web design principles.
• Familiarity with motion graphics or video editing (a plus).
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles (a plus).
