About the role
NTU International is seeking three Junior Non-Key Experts to support the PRIDA II project, focusing on digital connectivity for agriculture and education across African Union member states. The role involves remote and onsite work from the AUC premises in Addis Ababa.
Key responsibilities
- Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost, and adoption of connectivity services for rural agriculture and education across AU regions.
- Evaluate technical, economic, and regulatory feasibility of affordable connectivity options for underserved areas.
- Review and compare sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, developing pricing and discount‑rate methodologies.
- Develop policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, aligning with AU and national frameworks.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics, or Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
