Project Assistant – SRHR Next Alliance (Ethiopia)

About the role

The Project Assistant will support day‑to‑day implementation of the SRHR Next Alliance project in Ethiopia, working closely with local government structures, health facilities, schools, youth and women‑led groups, and other community actors.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, organization and implementation of approved project activities in assigned woredas, following workplans, budgets and technical guidance.
• Maintain regular working relationships with woreda health offices, health facilities, schools, youth structures, women‑ and youth‑led organisations and community leaders.
• Assist coordination of meetings, trainings, dialogues, community events, outreach activities and review sessions, including participant mobilisation, venue and material preparation, attendance documentation and action tracking.
• Conduct frequent field visits to assigned implementation sites and provide routine monitoring, documentation, reporting and logistics support.
• Follow up on agreed actions across the assigned woredas and ensure timely completion.

Required profile

• Experience in project implementation and field coordination, preferably in health or community development contexts.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders such as government offices, health facilities, schools and civil‑society groups.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
