About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Adwa cluster. Reporting to the EHOD National Sales, you will drive commercial, acquisition, distribution and M‑PESA growth initiatives within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

Implement market penetration activities aligned with Safaricom Ethiopia’s growth plans.
Support and monitor performance of distributors, merchants, agents, sub‑agents and SSO partners.
Ensure product and float availability to meet customer demand.
Contribute to customer acquisition, revenue growth and enhanced customer experience.
Follow defined guidance and escalation paths for issue resolution.

Required profile

Proven experience in sales management, preferably within telecom or financial services.
Strong understanding of distribution networks and agent management.
Ability to work autonomously while aligning with national sales strategies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
