Senior Customer Centric Frontend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend professional who puts the customer at the heart of every decision. You will join a dynamic product team in Addis Ababa, reporting to the Head of Engineering, and will help shape the digital experience across web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex, customer‑centric frontend applications.
• Design scalable and maintainable UI architectures using Angular.
• Drive performance optimisation and improve Core Web Vitals.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, backend engineers and QA teams.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and promote reusable component standards.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid hands‑on experience with Angular, including component architecture, RxJS, forms, routing and dependency injection.
• Practical knowledge of server‑side rendering/SSG, routing, performance and SEO basics.
• Experience building cross‑platform mobile apps with Flutter and Dart.
• Ability to create consistent UI components that work across web and mobile.
• Support for CI/CD pipelines and release activities.
