Senior Information Systems Auditor

About the role

The Senior Information Systems Auditor will lead the evaluation of the bank's information systems to ensure robust controls, compliance, and risk mitigation. This position is based at the Head Office in Addis Ababa and reports to the Human Capital and Supply Chain Management Department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report on information systems audits across the bank’s operations.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of IT controls, security measures, and data integrity processes.
• Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and external auditors to align audit findings with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain audit documentation and ensure adherence to internal audit standards.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in information systems auditing, IT risk assessment, or related roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
