Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly ambitious Senior Software Engineer to build systems that solve real problems at scale for short‑term rental operators. You will design, develop and ship customer‑facing products, automation engines, AI‑powered workflows and integrations that directly impact property managers, their teams and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable applications, services and APIs that power reservations, pricing, payments and property operations.
• Build event‑driven automation workflows that eliminate repetitive tasks such as cleaning scheduling and guest communications.
• Develop AI‑powered systems using LLMs and agents to automate guest communication, maintenance triage and pricing decisions.
• Create robust API‑first architecture to connect internal services, booking channels and third‑party providers.
• Maintain integrations with platforms like Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI and Google.
• Deploy and manage cloud‑native, serverless infrastructure for reliability and global growth.
• Solve complex operational problems such as real‑time reservation synchronization, dynamic pricing intelligence and smart‑lock access.
• Own projects end‑to‑end, from problem definition through architecture, implementation, deployment and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong experience building and owning production‑grade software systems.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, React or comparable frameworks.
• Deep understanding of APIs, distributed systems and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Product mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and curiosity about AI and automation.
• Bias toward action, shipping quickly and learning from real users.
