Specialist – OSP Deployment (Contract)

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Specialist to lead Outside Plant (OSP) deployment projects on a contract basis. You will play a key part in expanding the network that now reaches over half of Ethiopia’s population, ensuring high‑quality infrastructure rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute OSP installation activities across assigned sites.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction and operations teams to meet project timelines.
• Monitor site progress, conduct quality checks, and resolve technical issues on‑site.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deployment work and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide status reports to project managers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in telecom OSP deployment or related field.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic project environments.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
