About the role
The 3D Animator will create high‑quality 3D animations that enhance Droongo’s product experiences, marketing assets, and visual storytelling. This full‑time position works on‑site in Addis Ababa, collaborating closely with designers, developers, and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop character and object animations using Blender, including rigging and motion‑capture integration.
- Produce animation assets for product demos, explainer videos, and UI/UX visualizations.
- Refine scenes, optimize rendering, and ensure smooth, expressive movement across assets.
Required profile
- Strong portfolio showcasing 3D animation work, preferably for technology or SaaS products.
- Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, accept feedback, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Blender for modeling, animation, rendering, and scene optimization.
- Experience with rigging characters and assets.
- Skill in cleaning and integrating motion‑capture data.
