Branch Business Manager I – South West District

About the role

The Branch Business Manager I will lead the South West District branch network, driving customer acquisition, sales performance and market expansion. Reporting to senior bank leadership, the role focuses on mobilising resources, executing strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead branch‑level growth by implementing acquisition and sales strategies.
• Deploy resources efficiently to meet performance targets.
• Monitor market trends and identify expansion opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, processes and regulatory standards.
• Handle client enquiries, provide advice and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve service delivery.
• Drive data‑based decision making and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of financial products and banking operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance and achieve measurable results.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with core banking systems and related in‑house software.
• Project management capabilities.
