Brewing Operator

About the role

The Brewing Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multiple processes within the Brewing Utilities plant, including wort cooling, yeast management, and filtration. You will ensure product quality, support maintenance activities, and coach team members to achieve consistent production at optimal cost.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brew house, beverage fermentation, and filtration plants.
• Perform housekeeping, apply 5S principles, and follow safe work practices.
• Draft and document standard work procedures and quick‑fix routines.
• Carry out quality checks, record results in the information system, and resolve quality issues using problem‑solving techniques.
• Participate in meetings, use shift logbooks, and hand over information to incoming teams.
• Execute autonomous maintenance tasks and respond rapidly to process deviations.
• Develop own skills and mentor other brewery technicians.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Chemistry or a related field.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• Team‑player with good communication skills.
