Digital Product Development Officer – Retail & MSME

About the role

The Digital Product Development Officer – Retail & MSME will support the creation and enhancement of digital banking products aimed at retail and micro‑small‑medium enterprise (MSME) customers. The role involves evaluating vendor proposals, conducting market and competitive research, and contributing to new product initiatives that align with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in assessing digital product proposals from external vendors to ensure fit with bank goals.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of digital products for retail and MSME banking.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
• Participate in new product development cycles, from concept through launch.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless product integration and user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Additional degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Management is an advantage.
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in digital product development or related areas.
• Strong analytical mindset, data‑driven problem‑solving, and ability to navigate fast‑changing digital environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and build sustainable stakeholder relationships.
• Commitment to ethical standards, customer empathy, and continuous improvement.
