SAP BTP & ABAP Engineering Officer – Addis Ababa

About the role

The SAP BTP & ABAP Engineering Officer will join the technology team in Addis Ababa to design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions across the bank’s landscape. The role focuses on delivering robust technical enhancements, ensuring system stability, and supporting critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and support SAP BTP, ABAP, Fiori, SuccessFactors and Ariba components.
• Develop high‑quality code and technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure runtime stability.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adopt best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.
• Minimum four years of hands‑on experience with SAP technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
