About the role
The physiotherapist will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective care.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, mobility training and physical modalities.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and caregivers on home‑based rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate documentation, report adverse events and participate in quality‑improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional license/registration with the Ethiopian regulatory authority.
- Relevant clinical experience is preferred.
Required skills
- Physiotherapy assessment and treatment planning.
- Manual therapy techniques.
- Use of therapeutic exercise equipment and physical modalities.
- Patient education and documentation.
