Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead all HR activities for our operations in Ethiopia. The role supports business objectives through people management, talent development, employee engagement, and compliance with local labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities and operational goals.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for professional, technical and operational roles.
• Oversee employee relations, grievance handling, disciplinary procedures and ensure compliance with Ethiopian labour laws.
• Administer compensation, benefits and payroll processes in line with local market practices.
• Lead performance management, annual reviews and talent development programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or related field.
• Minimum 7 years progressive HR experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) – C1 level.
• Experience in mining, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, construction or similar complex environments (preferred).
• Experience managing expatriate populations and immigration processes (advantage).
