About the role

AYN Studios is looking for a dedicated Video Editor to join its creative team in Addis Ababa. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on turning raw footage into compelling visual stories that match the studio’s high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit raw video footage into polished final products.
• Create engaging visual narratives that align with project briefs.
• Apply effects, transitions, and color grading to enhance visual impact.
• Optimize videos for various platforms and ensure technical compliance.
• Meet project deadlines while collaborating closely with creative and production teams.

Required profile

• Strong video editing expertise with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of color correction, grading, and video optimization.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative storytelling ability and openness to constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and post‑production workflows.
• Experience in media production or social‑media content creation is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film Production, or a related field is advantageous.
