Branch Business Relationship Officer – Addis Ababa

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Officer will drive growth for Retail, MSME and International Financial Banking (IFB) services at the assigned branch in Addis Ababa. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and generating cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve business targets for Retail, MSME and IFB banking products.
• Provide high‑quality relationship management to both new and existing clients.
• Maintain customer satisfaction to retain and expand the client base.
• Identify and pursue cross‑selling opportunities across the bank’s product portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless banking services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance/Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Formal training or courses in banking operations (including IFB, domestic, credit and international banking).
• Minimum four years of successful experience in banking or a customer‑contact role.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of banking products, pricing and service offerings.
• Marketing and sales capabilities to promote bank products.
