Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the daily operations of a Zions café and pastry outlet in Addis Ababa. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures the branch delivers high‑quality food, service and brand experience to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage staff schedules, supervise service quality and enforce brand standards.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers and oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Train, coach and evaluate team members while resolving customer issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment and support local marketing initiatives.
• Track sales and service performance against targets and report results to headquarters.

Required profile

• Experience in retail, hospitality or food‑and‑beverage operations, preferably in a café, bakery or restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, including team supervision and performance feedback.
• Proficiency in basic financial and operational tasks such as cash handling, sales tracking and inventory control.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, on‑site in Addis Ababa.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Basic computer literacy.
