About the role
We are looking for a Mining Operations Supervisor to lead drilling and blasting activities in a gold mine. The role involves directing teams and equipment to ensure productive, efficient, and safe mining operations while complying with quality, environmental and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Execute all tasks related to mining operations, focusing on drilling and blasting.
- Lead and control teams and equipment according to superior instructions and current regulations.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency, reporting activities performed.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety rules.
Required profile
- Completed secondary education (12th grade) or equivalent technical training.
- Professional experience in mining projects, specifically gold mining, with a focus on drilling and blasting.
- Proficiency in English is a plus.
- Initiative, proactivity, strong planning and organization.
- Leadership, motivation and ability to train teams.
- Teamwork orientation and willingness to travel.
