Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for safe execution of planned and corrective maintenance activities in a production environment. The role focuses on improving key performance indicators, reducing waste, and ensuring compliance with safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance tasks safely, on‑time and in‑full (OTIF) following LOTO and minor‑intervention procedures.
• Execute planned, corrective and legal‑related maintenance while adhering to HACCP and other food‑safety requirements.
• Coach and train operators on autonomous maintenance (CILT) and tag/detag equipment as needed.
• Identify and resolve equipment performance issues during zone tours and production hand‑over meetings.
• Document breakdown work orders in the CMMS (Maximo) and create BDA sheets for follow‑up actions.
• Participate in service, overhaul, RCFA/BDA (5‑why) and APM roll‑out activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles.

Required profile

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational education.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proven troubleshooting ability and strong technical knowledge of machinery.
• Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and ability to train operators in autonomous maintenance.
