Humanitarian Programme Advisor

About the role

CST Ethiopia is seeking a Humanitarian Programme Advisor to support its Resilient Communities Programme. The role will ensure effective, efficient, and timely humanitarian response for vulnerable communities while strengthening the capacity of local implementing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery, oversight, monitoring and reporting of humanitarian interventions across sectors such as Food Security, WASH, Protection and Cash Assistance.
• Assist partners in managing projects in line with community needs, sector standards and contractual agreements.
• Monitor project performance to ensure compliance with legal and donor requirements.
• Prepare and contribute to concept notes, proposals and programme documentation.
• Facilitate capacity‑building activities for local humanitarian partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian programme management or advisory roles.
• Familiarity with multi‑sectoral humanitarian interventions (FSL, WASH, Protection, Cash).
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners, including faith‑based and secular organisations.
• Strong monitoring, reporting and proposal development skills.
