About the role

The Alliance for Health Equity – Ethiopia is seeking a dedicated Member to support its health equity and health literacy programmes. This is a full‑time remote position that involves regular virtual collaboration with a geographically dispersed team.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to the planning, implementation and evaluation of health equity initiatives.
• Assist in developing culturally appropriate educational and informational materials.
• Support community outreach, advocacy and partner coordination through online channels.
• Collect, organise and document information for reporting and programme monitoring.
• Provide regular feedback from communities and help identify opportunities for programme improvement.

Required profile

• Strong interest in health equity, public health and social justice, with a commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of local Ethiopian languages is a plus.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities to meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity and willingness to learn in a dynamic non‑profit environment.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with digital collaboration tools such as email, video‑conferencing and shared document platforms.
