About the role

The MPCA Officer leads the implementation of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programmes, providing coordination and technical support for lifesaving cash assistance across project areas.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate beneficiary targeting, digital registration and cash distribution with government bodies and partners.
  • Conduct market monitoring, price data collection and analysis to adjust transfer values.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for cash‑based interventions.
  • Lead community mobilisation, training sessions and capacity‑building activities.
  • Ensure compliance with donor, organisational and government requirements and produce regular reports.

Required profile

  • Minimum 3 years experience in humanitarian cash programming or micro‑finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Agriculture, Rural Development, Development Studies, Business Administration or related field.
  • Experience working with community‑based organisations and local government.
