Multi Sectoral Coordinator (District Level)

About the role

The Multi‑Sectoral Coordinator will lead and supervise the RISE Integrated Multi‑Sector Project at district level, ensuring quality and compliance across all field activities. Reporting to the project manager, the coordinator will drive implementation in line with World Vision policies, donor requirements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate rigorous execution of all RISE project field‑level activities, adhering to the project proposal, donor guidelines and governmental frameworks.
• Ensure physical and financial implementation meets the planned schedule and budget while optimizing resource use.
• Supervise the field‑level project officer, providing guidance and promptly addressing challenges.
• Facilitate networking with Woreda and Zonal government offices, NGOs and other stakeholders.
• Compile and submit financial and narrative reports, as well as operation plans and progress updates, to the project manager and relevant authorities.

Required profile

• BA/BSc degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Economics, Development Studies, WASH or related fields.
• 2‑5 years of experience in coordination or management, preferably in NGO or USAID/BHA funded projects.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Frequent travel within the program area (Kebeles) and ability to work in field environments.
