Sales Intern (12‑month paid)

About the role

JTI Ethiopia is seeking a motivated Sales Intern to join its commercial team for a 12‑month paid internship. This position offers hands‑on exposure to sales operations, trade execution, and field visibility activities in the Ethiopian market.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily sales operations and trade execution tasks.
• Assist with market visits to verify product availability and visibility in retail outlets.
• Collect, organize, and update sales‑related data from the field.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports and dashboards for internal use.
• Coordinate and monitor trade initiatives and market programmes.
• Provide operational support to the sales team, including documentation and planning.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate in Business, Marketing, Economics, Management or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn from field operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
