Senior Operations Coordinator – Addis Ababa

About the role

Last Mile Health is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth, efficient, and well‑coordinated operations for its Ethiopia program. Based in Addis Ababa, you will support both office and field activities, enabling staff to focus on delivering health impact.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end domestic and international travel for staff, consultants, donors and partners, handling flights, visas, accommodations and ground transport.
• Plan and execute logistics for trainings, workshops, conferences, stakeholder meetings and field visits, including venue sourcing, catering and equipment.
• Manage customs clearance and shipment of medical equipment, program supplies and organizational assets.
• Ensure all logistics, travel and procurement activities comply with organizational policies, donor regulations and local laws.
• Support procurement planning and sourcing of office supplies, medical equipment, IT assets and consultancy services, maintaining a database of pre‑qualified vendors.
• Collaborate closely with operations, program and finance teams to maximize operational spending value.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations, logistics or procurement within multi‑country or NGO environments.
• Strong attention to detail, compliance and risk management.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across diverse teams and external partners.
• Work authorization for Ethiopia and residence in Addis Ababa.
