Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (Adama District)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development activities for branches in the Adama District. You will be responsible for growing deposit and interest‑free financing portfolios while promoting the bank’s full range of products to existing and new customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development initiatives across the assigned region.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to meet deposit, IFB financing and investment growth targets.
• Achieve overall business growth for the bank within the interest‑free banking market segment.
• Promote and sell additional bank products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Leverage networking skills to acquire and retain customers.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk‑management and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Diploma or certificate in Islamic banking or finance is an advantage.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience.
• Strong understanding of Interest‑Free Banking operations, Sharia principles and associated risks.
• Extensive banking background covering credit, risk management and compliance.
• Project‑management capability and proven leadership competencies.
