Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development activities for the South Addis Ababa District branch. The role focuses on attracting, deepening, and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth in the Retail & MSME segment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control business development initiatives within the branch team.
• Drive deposit and loan growth by acquiring and retaining Retail & MSME customers.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services to enhance customer value.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance on sales, marketing, and digital initiatives.
• Engage senior leaders and stakeholders to align business priorities.

Required profile

• BA degree in Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant banking experience, preferably in Retail & MSME.
• Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
• Strong negotiation, networking, and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
