Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME leads business development for the assigned branch network, focusing on Retail and MSME customers. The role drives deposit and loan growth while promoting the bank’s full suite of products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control business development activities within the branch team.
• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to meet deposit and loan growth targets.
• Achieve overall business growth for the bank in the Retail & MSME market segment.
• Promote and sell additional bank products and services to enhance value‑add relationships with existing customers.
• Provide strategic guidance on sales and marketing practices to improve performance.
• Engage senior leaders, manage projects and ensure compliance with credit, risk and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant banking experience.
• Proven track record in Retail & MSME banking.
• Strong negotiation, networking and relationship‑building abilities.
• Deep understanding of credit, risk management and compliance.
• Leadership qualities such as result‑driven mindset, coaching, customer insight and partnership engagement.
