Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – RMSME will lead business development activities for the branch in Nekemte. The role focuses on attracting, deepening, and managing financial relationships to achieve deposit and loan growth within the Retail and MSME market segments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control business development initiatives for the assigned region.
• Drive deposit and loan growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with retail and MSME customers.
• Promote and cross‑sell the bank’s products and services to enhance value‑add relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and risk management.
• Monitor market trends and customer insights to adjust strategies and meet targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or business development.
• Strong leadership competencies, including result orientation, coaching, and partnership engagement.
• Ability to manage risk, leverage digital tools, and demonstrate emotional intelligence.
