About the role
The Branch Manager I will lead the Kolfe branch of Grand Microfinance Institution, overseeing daily operations, driving loan portfolio growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high‑quality financial services to underserved entrepreneurs, women and youth.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate branch staff to achieve performance targets.
- Manage loan disbursement, collection and portfolio quality monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and community partners.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Identify business development opportunities and promote financial products.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on micro‑finance best practices.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
- At least 1 year as a Branch Manager and 2 years as a Senior Customer Service Officer in a micro‑finance institution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Management, Economics or a related field.
