Cluster Coordinator

About the role

The Cluster Coordinator will lead staff, activities and partnerships to deliver the EYWM project in Jimma, Ethiopia. The role focuses on supporting MSMEs, especially women, youth and disadvantaged groups, ensuring timely results and alignment with donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cluster staff and coordinate resources to implement the EYWM project effectively.
• Oversee MSME identification, establishment, growth, sustainability and market integration.
• Coordinate mentoring, coaching, technical assistance and business development support for MSMEs.
• Align cluster interventions with project objectives, indicators and donor requirements, addressing gaps and risks.
• Plan and review work plans, budgets, monitoring frameworks and implementation strategies.
• Strengthen coordination with government, YAGs, businesses, development partners and civil society.
• Implement safeguarding, protection, inclusion and accountability measures.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, learning and adaptive management through data collection and analysis.
• Prepare and submit quality‑assured reports to partners, donors and government.
• Coordinate logistics, administration, communications and visibility activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or MSc) in development studies, economics, business administration, enterprise development, project management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program or project coordination, preferably in the development sector.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills, with fluency in English; Amharic or other local languages desirable.
• Willingness to travel within Ethiopia and ability to drive a motorbike with a valid driving licence.
